AAMBIS-OWA is a party-list for marginalized farmers in the Philippines. We seek congressional representation for the poorest farmers in the country. AAMBIS-OWA is #19 (party-list) in the official ballot of the May 2010 national elections. AAMBIS-OWA aims to help farmers increase their crop yield and sales margin. Basic solutions to the big problems of marginalized farmers in the country! Basic facts: Almost 40% of the Philippine population are farmers. But only 15% of the Philippine GDP is from agriculture. Most of these farmers are marginalized farmers, living way below the poverty line. Who we are: small land owners (1 to 4 hectares) farming in the far-flung areas of the countryside supporting 4 children earning as low as 20,000 pesos per year plagued by low crop yield, high farming costs, poor infrastructure and low crop prices   AAMBIS: a marginalized farmers' group AAMBIS: simple solutions to the basic problems of the poorest farmers
